The Mosta Rotunda Foundation is a social purpose for public benefit foundation set up in 2021 by the Diocese of Malta and the Mosta Parish.

The main purpose of the Foundation is to safeguard, maintain, conserve and administer all property of the Parish of the Assumption of Our Lady – Mosta, including mainly: the Sanctuary Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady; the various chapels situated in Mosta and nearby surroundings; any paintings, artefacts, statues and sculptures; the shelters underlying the Mosta Basilica; and the museum within the Mosta Basilica.

This goal is reached by preserving the integrity of this historic site while fostering a deeper connection with the community through collaboration with the Parish Pastoral Council. As custodians of this iconic landmark, the Foundation ensures that its history and significance are passed on to future generations.
